Privacy Policy
Flint is built to run on your device. The alarms you set, the apps you block, and your unlock history are stored locally on your phone and are not transmitted to us. This policy explains the limited information we do collect — for handling purchases and understanding how the app is used — and how we handle it.
Information we collect
App data stays on your device
Your blocklists, challenges, alarms, and unlock activity are stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to this data.
Purchase and subscription information
Flint uses RevenueCat and Superwall to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions, which are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by Apple or Google. Through RevenueCat and Superwall we receive purchase and subscription status information, such as which product was purchased, whether a subscription is active, expired, or in a trial period, and anonymized transaction identifiers, so that we can unlock the features you've paid for and provide support if something goes wrong with a purchase.
Analytics
We use Mixpanel to understand how people use Flint — for example, which features are opened, how often challenges are completed, and general device and app-version information. This data is associated with a randomly generated device identifier, not your name or contact details, and is used only to improve the app.
How we use this information
- To deliver the features and subscription entitlements you've purchased
- To provide support if you contact us about a purchase or app issue
- To understand usage patterns and improve Flint's features and reliability
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized purchases
How we share information
We don't sell your information. We share purchase and analytics data only with the service providers named above — RevenueCat, Superwall, and Mixpanel — solely so they can perform the purchase-management and analytics services described in this policy, and with Apple or Google as required to process payments. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.
Data retention
Purchase and analytics data is retained by us and our service providers for as long as needed to support your subscription and improve the app, or until you request deletion as described below. On-device app data can be erased at any time by deleting the app or clearing its data from your device settings.
Your choices
You can request that we delete the purchase and analytics information associated with your device by contacting us at [email protected]. You can also manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, and control tracking permissions through your device's system settings.
Children's privacy
Flint is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We rely on the security practices of Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Superwall, and Mixpanel to protect the limited information described above, and we limit what we collect in the first place by keeping app data on your device.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
