Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Flint mobile application ("Flint", "the app") provided by Shweep Studios ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using Flint, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The service

Flint helps you block distracting apps on your device and unlock them only after completing a challenge you've set for yourself. The app is designed to run locally on your device — your blocklists, challenges, and unlock activity are stored on your device and are not part of an account-based or cloud service.

Subscriptions and purchases

Some features of Flint are offered as in-app purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions, billed and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and managed through RevenueCat and Superwall. By making a purchase, you agree to the payment terms presented at the time of purchase and to the applicable App Store or Google Play terms of service.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies — we are not able to issue refunds directly.

Acceptable use

By using Flint, you agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app in an attempt to bypass its challenge or unlock mechanics for others
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with the app's operation or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or service providers

Intellectual property

Flint, including its design, branding, and content, is owned by Shweep Studios and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

Flint is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will successfully block access to every app or feature on your device in every circumstance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shweep Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, Flint.

Termination

You may stop using Flint at any time by deleting the app from your device. We may suspend or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Flint after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
